El HT502 es compatible con el estándar SIP 2.0 y tiene 2 puertos FXS, puertos de red duales 10/100Mbps (RJ45) con enrutador NAT de alto desempeño integrado, indicadores LED para estado de energía y para mensaje en espera, y un pie para posicionamento vertical. Soporta Universal Plug-in-Play (UPnP), hasta 2 perfiles de cuenta SIP así que funciones telefónicas tradicionales y avanzadas.
El HT502 provee un nível superior de seguridad con su aprovisionamento automático a través de codec/RTP de voz simétrico y asimétrico en cualquier llamada, y soporte una gran variedad de codecs de voz.
